It is called Beauty Sleep for a reason. Your body does its job renewing and restoring skin cells while you are sleeping, helping to prevent wrinkles, aging, dull looking skin and robbing it of its natural glow. Your current skin conditions will worsen if you don’t get enough sleep. You should aim for about 8 hours of restful sleep every night for healthy, radiant skin.

Harmful Habits
Smoking and excessive drinking can have a negative impact on your skin, aside from being unhealthy in general. Smoking causes poor circulation and decreases oxygen levels in the skin resulting in premature aging and wrinkles. Drinking alcohol dehydrates your skin and we’ve already discussed the importance of keeping your skin hydrated. When you do have that casual drink, stick with those that are clear (vodka, gin, white wine, etc) as they flush out of your system quicker.
